Tips if Fire damage occurs in your home

Fire damage Friday tips! Some more of our Do's and Dont's for you. In the event of a fire damage if your electricity is off, empty your freezer/refrigerator completely and prop the doors open to help prevent odor, you wouldn't want to possibly forget that there is meat in your freezer and have it thaw out. Also if your heat is off during these winter months, pour RV antifreeze in sinks, toilet bowls, holding tanks and tubs to avoid freezing pipes and fixtures leading to more unwanted damages. DO NOT consume any food/beverages that may have been stored close to the fire/heat. They may be contaminated and unsafe for consumption. In any situation I hope you find our tips helpful.
