Water dripping from ceiling after roof torn off from high winds
In this gorgeous log cabin style home there had been some storm damage from the straight line winds that had torn of the roof from this families home. It had then caused the rain water to just rain inside this families home. After the rain cleared and they got their roofing company to come cover all the holes leaking in their roof, they called SERVPRO. We were there that very next morning to asses the damage from the previous night and this is just the beginning of the much needed water mitigation we would have to complete. After tearing out all of the wet carpet and pad to reveal their beautiful log floors we were able to dry out all the wet crevices. Of course in these photos we had to cut the wet ceiling out to open that cavity and get the saturated insulation out of the drywall ceiling before it decided it wanted to come down itself from being wet and having all the extra weight on it from the wet insulation. We opened up the ceiling and began to dry out the affected area. We are 24/7 fire and water mitigation and mold remediation ready!
