Storm damage leaving water damage

During the recent hail storms with high winds it left most wondering what to do when it was raining in their homes. In this particular situation it was due to high winds that left a family in shock. A tree branch had been blown out of a tree and it came crashing through their roof. Leaving a gaping whole during the rest of the storm which includes lots of rain, it left water damage in the home. The whole was in the attic area of the roof and rain water had leaked into the attic saturating the insulation. The insulation got so wet that it started seeping into the drywall in the ceiling. SERVPRO came into action and we put up our containment barrier in the attic area and removed all of the wet drywall and insulation, then continued our drying process. With our state of the art dehumidifier and our air movers we completed drying so repairs could be completed for this family. Thankful we could help, and continue helping other families with storm damages in the Omaha area.
