Water Main break and School Floods
After school had just let out this school in Millard had a disaster strike. The water main underneath the school in the electrical room had burst and blown the concrete up flooding more than 17 rooms in this school. As you can see in the class rooms and hallways above they were full of mud and water. SERVPRO technicians spent over 12 hours that night making sure to extract every last inch of water out of the carpet to make sure we could begin our drying process and save this school for their upcoming year. Technicians used the Rover it's the riding water extractor. They made this process smooth and go as quickly as the machines would move. The rover would extract the water and technicians would then release that water from the extractor the rover was attached to into one of our barrels and we would have to go dump the water. After many of these trips and many rounds on the rover we had completed the extraction process. We then loaded the hallways and class rooms full of our state of the art air movers, and dehumidifiers to start drying and save this schools carpets. SERVPRO technicians had a long night and finally were able to go home at 4 the next morning after they made it "Like it never even happened."
