The subfloor materials can also be accessed from the crawlspace, or from a lower floor by removing the drywall from the ceiling beneath.  These types of drying jobs usually take longer to dry - from 4 to 7 days. In rare cases, it may be necessary to remove the subfloor, such as when mold has damaged the subfloor or structural materials beyond remediation.
